Typhoon Nuri

The howling sound of the wind and a repeated thudding sound woke me up at 6+ today.

I was wondering what was the sound hitting repeatedly against the window... sounded qt forceful too. Turned out that the cover of the exhaust fan at my kitchen got dislodged and was dangling out of the window, and the strong gusts of wind caused the cover to fly around outside the window, slamming against it repeatedly.

Woke Bernard up and he managed to fix the thing with lots of tape:

Now there are more and more gusts of wind and it seems to be getting stronger... the door kept trembling causing an irritating solid vibration sound. We have closed all the windows to stop the howling sound and prevent the curtains from flying, so its really stuffy.

Got news that Typhoon Nuri will hit HK directly in the evening. 

The HK Observatory just issued a signal 8 at 7.45am.  No work today!! Bernard is already back to sleep and snoring...
